Hello RoSocial Community!
We’re excited to share some awesome new features and improvements on our platform! Here are the changes we’ve made so far:
Group Friend Invites
Invite your friends to join your RoSocial group! They can choose to accept or decline the invitation.
Search on Profile/Group/Page
You can now search for content directly on a user profile or group/page.
Upload Profile Picture / Header Image
We’ve updated how profile picture changes are displayed, so they no longer appear as posts. This keeps your timeline tidier!
Job Posts
You can now specify if, how much, and in what way you pay for job posts, as well as what type of job it is! Try it out and find new people to support you and your project!
💰️Marketplace Payments
We’ve updated the payment system in the marketplace. You can now pay for goods or services directly with PayPal without needing to top up your wallet first.
💰️Marketplace Posts for Groups/Pages
Group and page owners can now create marketplace products directly in their group or page instead of posting them on their personal profile.
User Badges
We’ve added the display of team or company/creator badges in the feed, making it easier to recognize official team members and RoSocial content creators!
Points/Wallet Transactions
You now have a more detailed overview of your earnings and expenditures in your points account or RoSocial wallet.
New Video Player
Newly uploaded videos will now display in a new video player that offers more features, such as quality settings and the ability to watch videos in Picture-in-Picture mode.
📪️Bug Fixes and Quality of Life Changes
We’ve resolved many bugs and issues to make RoSocial even more enjoyable for you!
We know many of you are eagerly waiting for the official apps for Android and iOS. We want to assure you that we’re working hard on them. The apps are already completed, but the release process is not as straightforward as we initially hoped. The app verification takes time, especially if it gets rejected and we need to make further changes. However, we promise the apps will come!
Also, look forward to more cool features we’ll be rolling out in the coming days and weeks. One of them is **Reels / Short-Form Content!** We’ll give you a heads-up before this feature goes live, so keep your short content ready for upload! We’re excited about it!
In the meantime, feel free to explore the new update, and maybe you’ll find a few Easter eggs!
